Filming day at the scrapyard \u2013 an adventure of its own<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the early morning hours, the team arrived at the first filming location in Laxenburg, equipped with cameras and gear. The scrapyard offered an impressive setting: stacked car bodies, decommissioned vehicles in various stages of dismantling, and the unmistakable screech of metal on metal. Particularly fascinating were the massive excavator claws, which lifted and transported vehicles with precise power \u2014 a real eye-catcher for the camera. Scholz employee and site manager Zoran Rakic supported the film crew throughout the day with his expertise. Art director Bettina Wolfram and cinematographer Nadine Gilg from the communications agency Match (www.match-komm.at) were especially captivated by the scrapyard\u2019s workflows and the team\u2019s strong sense of camaraderie. According to \u2014 and even slightly beyond \u2014 the shooting schedule, scene after scene was successfully captured on site.<\/p>\n

The second day of filming took the MATCH team to the REON GROUP scrapyard in Knittelfeld. At the Kuttin site, authorized officer Markus Rathmayer took the time to introduce the film crew to the modern recycling methods used to recover valuable raw materials after a vehicle has been scrapped. The contrast between the old, discarded cars and the cutting-edge recycling technology was especially striking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
