Markus Rathmayer guided the team throughout the day, explaining each step of the recycling process. The day began with fog, but the skies soon cleared, allowing us to capture some truly impressive footage.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The beginning of the film takes viewers on an emotional journey through the life of a car. Scenes from the vehicle\u2019s past convey the memories and experiences it has gathered over its lifetime. But at the end of this journey, we turn off the ignition and begin the recycling process.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At our shredding site in Knittelfeld, the car is brought into a modern recycling facility, where it is efficiently dismantled into its individual components. Using the latest technology, we recover valuable raw materials such as iron, aluminum, and copper, which are reused in the production of new products. In this way, we make an important contribution to conserving resources and reducing CO\u2082 emissions.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With over 300 dedicated employees at 16 locations across Austria, we are committed to sustainable practices and a circular economy that promotes environmental protection.
